The Lake County Courthouse will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2019 in observance of Labor Day. The Courthouse will reopen in Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 8:00 am.

During the Ohio Sales Tax Holiday, the following items are exempt from Ohio sales and use tax:

• Clothing priced at $75 per item or less;
• School supplies priced at $20 per item or less; and,
• School instructional material priced at $20 per item or less.

The Sales Tax Holiday applies to purchases made in store and by mail, telephone, e-mail, or on the Internet.

The Lake County Domestic Relations Court has revised Local Rule 14: Mediation. In keeping with the Ohio Rules of Superintendence, the public comment period extends to April 22, 2019. All comments must be in writing.

The Legal Aid Clinic scheduled for Wednesday, January 30, 2019 has been cancelled due to the severity of the weather.  Cases will be rescheduled.
